Does It Develop?
Kodak D-76 should be a clear liquid - only when it goes bad, it should turn yellow-brownish (because of the oxidation process).
However, I recently purchased a pack of D-76 (recent batch!) and the powder was already of a yellow color.
Usually I discard dubious looking chemicals in favor of a fresh pack without wasting a thought, but this time I had no D-76 left. So I decided to give it a shot.
DID IT DEVELOP?
Yes it did! I processed a test roll and everything came out perfectly, much to my surprise.
Maybe I got a special edition from Kodak to honor the Pantone color of the year, which is yellow.
Who knows?
